The components supplied with your kit will vary depending on the Chevrolet Cobalt trim you are using. The Goblin chassis will not change between the different donors but parts like the shifter hardware, exhaust, intake plumbing and more will change to fit your donor equipment.

This option includes chassis modifications to fit an F40 transmission, as well as custom transmission mounts and F40 goblin shifter hardware.
The chassis is fully welded before it is delivered so you do not need to weld anything. We also predrill all of the floor and firewall rivet holes so that you do not have to drill them yourself. The chassis is shipped out uncoated (bare steel). It is normal for there to be very light surface rust especially near the welds. This rust is easily dealt with by media blasting the frame before it gets powdercoated. If you plan to paint the frame, you will need to blast or lightly sand the rust before painting.
The full cage configuration provides more protection.
Full door bars provides more protection and make a great arm rest.
Easy entry door bars leave space open to make stepping into the car easier.
Double is similar to the full door bars but the upper bar is lowered to make it is easier to get into.
Any of the below options can be added to the order now or can be purchased later. These options can even be purchased after you've finished assembling your kit.
Hand laid fiberglass hood with mounting hardware. Primer black gel coat finish.
The extended height windscreen is 2 inches taller than the standard height. Most builders will not require the extended height, but taller builders can benefit from the extended height.
The polycarbonate windscreen dramatically cuts down on wind in the cockpit and provides a much more comfortable experience. The windscreen bolts to the hood so you must order the hood as well or fabricate your own mounts.
The fiberglass footwell cover mounts to the chassis over the footwell area to keep out water, road debris and radiator heat.
The side panels rivet to the lower side of the car. The aluminum panels are pre-drilled to make it easy to transfer the rivet hole locations to the chassis tubes.
The fiberglass engine cover is delivered with a primer black gel coat finish. Mounting hardware is included. SS/TC engine covers will be delivered in one piece and will need to be trimmed around the intercooler. Base and SC versions are split and ready to install on delivery.
The staggered fenders will fit 205 wide tires up front and 245 wide tires at the rear.
The fiberglass fender set comes with front and rear steel mounts and mounting hardware. The standard fenders will fit over tires up to 205 treadwidth.
The wide fenders will fit 245 wide tires on all four corners.
The wing mount set will let you attach many universal wings to the Goblin. The kit includes uprights, top mounts, diagonal support rod and fasteners. The kit does not include a wing.
The pair of 3.5" Dominator headlights includes mounting brackets and fasteners.
The side mirrors with built-in turn signals include CNC machined backer plates and fasteners.
The LED license plate mount includes mounting fasteners.
These LED lights function as tail, brake, and reverse lights. Includes mounting hardware.
Fully assembled button panel set with accessory, info, enter, horn, hazard and cruise control buttons. The panels are powdercoated black with white silk screen lettering.
Designed to mount the LSJ and LNF dial boost gauge to the Goblin steering column mount.
Send your donor car's harness to us to be reworked. The harness will be thinned, extended, and taped up so that it is ready to drop into your Goblin chassis.
If you are going to use the stock cobalt seats or a different set of aftermarket seats.
Pair of Corbeau FX1 seats, 5 point latch and link harnesses and Goblin seat mounts. The FX1 will fit up to a 38 inch waist.
Sits the seats further forward, good for people 6 Feet and under.
Sits the seats further back, good for people over 6 Feet.
Pair of Corbeau FX1 Pro seats, 5 point latch and link harnesses and Goblin seat mounts. The FX1 Pro will fit up to a 36 inch waist.
This kit replaces the stock shifter with a new anodized billet aluminum shifter. Included are the mounting hardware and dust covers.
Replace the donor struts and springs with BC Racing struts and QA1 springs. Includes spring seats, spring caps, nuts, washers and DFKC coilover adapter spacers.
Use our coilover adapters with your own coilover struts and springs.
The duct kit directs fresh air from outside the hood directly to the heat exchanger. Includes ducts, silicone splices, fiberglass shroud and mounting hardware.
Swap from the stock Cobalt lug pattern to 5x114.3 with our redrilled bearing hubs. Includes front and rear hubs.
Tow bar package includes the powder coated tow bar, chassis mounts, hardware and 60" trailer harness.
Instead of reusing your donor car's front brakes at the rear of your Goblin, you can use our parking brake setup. Includes calipers, rotors, adapter mounts and fasteners.
DF Kit Car branded D-shaped steering wheel wrapped in suede. The full kit includes the steering wheel, quick release and splined hub adapter.
Install these steering rack limiters to decrease the overall travel of your donor steering rack. This prevents the tire and wheel from coming in contact with the Goblin control arms.
